A suspect package was delivered to Mountjoy Garda Station this afternoon but has since been given the all-clear.
Tests were carried out on a white powder substance within the package.
The results confirmed that it poses no threat.
The Army bomb disposal team was called to the scene at around 3pm this afternoon.
The North Circular Road at Mountjoy Garda Station was closed for a time causing traffic congestion in the area.
