Many Irish websites unsecure - study

New research has found two thirds of Irish websites do not have enough security for online payments.

The analysis by Deloitte shows more than half of sites have weak encryption and 2% had no encryption at all.

It means the information that visitors submit like their name, address and credit card details can potentially be compromised and accessed by fraudsters.
