The Co Monaghan man who had been questioned by gardaí for the last two days about the murder of Paul Quinn has been released from custody.
The man, who is in his 30s, was released from Monaghan Garda Station without charge.
Mr Quinn, from Cullyhanna in south Armagh, was beaten to death by a gang of masked men in a farm shed near the village of Oram last year.
His family have blamed the IRA locally for his death.
