A garda investigation has begun following an incident in Dublin in which a firearm was discharged.
It happened at Hampton Wood Road, Finglas, at about 11.30pm last night.
Gardaí say two men who were travelling in a car were fired upon by the male passenger of a second car, a blue Chevrolet Lacetti Estate which forced it to stop.
Nobody was injured and the Chevrolet was founded burned out on St Margaret's Road a short time later.
