A 25-year-old man has been jailed for life for the murder of another man he stabbed in June last year.
Mantas Pauliukonis from Clondalkin had denied the murder of Aleksanders Filusins at Oaklands Avenue in Swords, Co Dublin.
After more than five hours of deliberation the jury found him guilty of murder by a ten-to-two majority.
He was also convicted of assaulting another man on the same occasion.
The trial heard that Pauliukonis had been at the so called Russian Disco in Swords on the night of the killing.
The prosecution said he had tracked down his victim Aleksanders Filusins who had intervened to help another man in an earlier fight near the nightclub.
