An investigation is under way into an incident in which a shot was fired into a pub in Cork city.
A man on a motorcycle approached the Mo Chuísle bar on Blarney Street at around midnight last night.
He warned people to stay away before firing a single shot into the bar from a sawn-off shotgun.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
A garda forensic team will examine the scene today and Blarney Street was expected to remain closed to traffic until 10am this morning.
