A man in his 20s has been arrested as part of the ongoing investigation into the murder of Paul Quinn.
Mr Quinn, from Cullyhanna in south Armagh, was beaten to death by a masked gang in shed near the village of Oram in Co Monaghan in October last year.
In the early hours of this morning gardaí arrested the man in Cavan and brought him to Monaghan Garda station where he is being held.
He is the sixth person to be arrested in the Republic while the PSNI have also arrested and questioned six people.
No one has been charged in connection with the death.
