A man has been arrested in connection with an incident in Waterford earlier this week in which a teenage girl was shot with a pellet gun.
The 27 year old man was arrested this afternoon and taken to Waterford Garda Station.
He can be held for up to 72 hours.
16-year-old Bridget Delaney was shot in the stomach at the Bilberry halting site at 10.30pm on Monday night.
