A man is in a critical condition at Galway University Hospital following a suspected stabbing in the Westside area of the city.
The incident occurred at around 7am this morning at a house in the Clermont Park Estate.
Gardaí have sealed off five houses in the estate and an investigation is ongoing.
No weapon has been discovered yet.
