A man has died following a road crash in Co Kildare.
The 24-year-old motorcyclist died after a collision with a 4x4 vehicle at Stramillian, Monastervin at around 10.45pm last night.
He was taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Portlaoise where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.
The road was closed for several hours as Garda Foresic Collision Investigators examined the scene.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact them at 045-527730.
