The three men arrested earlier today for questioning in connection with the death of John Twomey have been released without charge.

Mr Twomey died after he and his brother Pat were involved in a fracas in a field in Co Cork.

Mr Twomey died in the ambulance that was taking him to hospital in Cork city, after the fracas near their farm in Rylane last Tuesday.

Three men, one in his 50s and two in their 20s, were arrested in the Rylane area of Cork shortly before 8am this morning and were questioned at Bandon Garda Station.

A file relating to the incident is being prepared for the DPP.
