A boil water notice has been issued to householders in a number of parts of Co Sligo because the water supply from Kilsellagh reservoir is discoloured.
The reservoir serves the Rosses Point and Kiltycahill areas, as well as northern parts of Sligo town.
Sligo County Council said it hoped the problem could be resolved in the coming days.
