Two die in separate crashes

Two men have been killed in separate crashes in Wexford and Limerick.

A 38-year-old man died when the car he was driving collided with a truck at Ballyrankin, Bunclody in Co Wexford.

The accident happened at around 7.30am this morning.

The man was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, a 74-year-old man died in a single-vehicle accident in Co Limerick this morning.

The man was fatally injured when the car he was driving went out of control and collided with a ditch.

The accident happened on the R512 in Ballinstona near Bruff at around 10.15am.

Gardaí in Bruff are investigating the accident.
