Two men arrested in Co Louth on Saturday have been charged with possession of firearms and ammunition.
26-year-old Thomas Kelly, from Killinarden Estate, Tallaght, Dublin, and 42-year-old Eugene Kelly, of Ashling Park, Cox's Demesne, Dundalk, Co Louth, appeared before the Special Criminal Court this afternoon.
Eugene Kelly was also charged with membership of an illegal organisation, the INLA.
The two were remanded in custody until Wednesday.
They had been arrested on 19 July, together with a woman, and a firearm and ammunition were recovered.
The woman was released yesterday without charge.
