A man appeared in court this afternoon charged with assault causing harm in relation to an ongoing feud between families from the Travelling community in Waterford city.
11 people have been arrested since the feud erupted last Saturday.
Four of them have been remanded in custody. Three men continue to be questioned at Waterford Garda Station.
Gardaí have conducted extensive searches of waste ground, private houses and public areas in Waterford. They have recovered a number of items, including 37 homemade incendiary devices, a sawn-off shotgun and five live rounds of ammunition.
Meanwhile two more arson attacks in Waterford city in the early hours of this morning are under investigation.
No one was injured in either attack, which gardaí say brings to six the number of arson attacks to take place in Waterford since Saturday.
One attack happened at a house in St Herblain at around 1am but the house was vacant at the time.
The other incident took place at Manor St John sometime after 3am, and it is believed the house may have been wrongly targeted.
These latest attacks are believed to be related to the ongoing feud.
Gardaí continue to maintain a large presence around the city.
