A 21-year-old man has appeared in court charged in connection with a massive drug seizure in Co Kildare on Wednesday.
Richard Larkin of Collinstown Grove, Clondalkin in Dublin, was charged with possession of drugs for sale or supply under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court on Tuesday 15 July.
Last Wednesday, gardaí seized approximate 20kg of cocaine at a premises in Celbridge, Co Kildare.
Judge Anne Watkins in Kilmainham District Court this morning heard that when Mr Larkin was charged last night at Naas Garda Station, he made no reply.
