A woman in her 30s is in a critical condition in hospital after a road accident in Co Kerry yesterday in which a man was killed.
The accident happened shortly before 5pm on the Dingle to Annascaul road near Lispole.
James Broughall, 40, died when the car he was driving collided with a lorry. Gardaí said he was from Kildare but had been living in the area.
The injured woman was a passenger in the car and was taken to Kerry General Hospital.
The driver of the lorry was not injured.
