A man is being questioned in connection with the attempted murder of two PSNI members near the border in Co Fermanagh at the weekend.

He was arrested yesterday in the Lisnaskea area.

It is believed a landmine containing a substantial amount of home-made explosives partially exploded under a bridge outside Roslea as the police were driving past.

The device was later made safe by British army bomb experts.

The two police oficers received minor injuries.

A dissident republican group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
