The HSE has this evening refused to confirm reports that the number of cases of cancer misdiagnosis in the northeast has risen.
The Health Service Executive has this evening refused to confirm reports that the number of cases of cancer misdiagnosis in the northeast has risen.
Fine Gael says it believes the number of cases is up from four to six.
However, a spokesperson for the HSE said they would not be making any comment on the issue while the review of 6,000 chest x-rays and CT scans was under way.
