A 32-year-old man who was arrested over the stabbing of a woman in Listowel, Co Kerry has been released without charge.
A 38-year-old woman was stabbed at a house on Dromin Green in Listowel at around 5pm yesterday evening.
The woman was taken to Kerry General Hospital in Tralee where her condition is described as stable.
A man was arrested at the scene and detained at Listowel Garda Station until his release this morning.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
