A garda motorcycle has collided with a car on the N78 between Kilkenny and Castlecomer.
The garda motorcycle was driving with the Presidential motorcade travelling towards Castlecomer when the collision happened at around 4.20pm.
It is understood the garda has been taken to hospital. It is not known if the driver of the car has been seriously injured.
