A major security operation at Shannon Airport has been stood down following confirmation that US President George Bush will not land there.
Mr Bush to land at Shannon on a refuelling stop on his way back to the states.
But Air Force One has overflown Shannon although two support aircrafts landed at the airport.
Over 150 gardaí had been deployed in the operation which also involved the US Secret Service, the Army and the Air Corps.
