A garda investigation is under way after a pipebomb was discovered under a car in Crumlin, Dublin, early this morning.
The improvised explosive device was found under a car parked outside a house on Captain's Avenue following an anonymous call to the emergency services.
An Army bomb disposal team, called to the scene by gardaí, evacuated the area shortly before 2am.
The device was safely dismantled and the all clear was given an hour later.
