A man questioned about the death of a woman in Kilkenny at the weekend has been released without charge.
He was released from garda custody in the early hours of this morning and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Lorraine White, a 42-year-old mother of five, died at St Luke's Hospital in the city after she was admitted with internal injuries on Saturday morning.
A post mortem examination was carried out, but gardaí are awaiting further tests and medical reports.
