A 50-year-old garda has been arrested and suspended from duty as part of an investigation into criminal activity in Co Wexford.
The Garda Press Office said the officer was detained after gardaí began a search at a private dwelling in New Ross early today.
The search was supported by the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation.
