A 54-year-old woman has appeared in court charged in connection with the murder of Farah Swaleh Noor in March 2005.

Kathleen Mulhall, who is the mother of the two women already convicted in connection with the crime, is accused of impeding the apprehension or prosecution of another person who committed murder.

The offence is alleged to have taken place at Richmond Cottages in Ballybough in Dublin - the home Kathleen Mulhall shared with Farah Swaleh Noor.

There was no application for bail. She was granted free legal aid and remanded in custody.
