Woman freed in Cleary murder probe

A woman arrested as part on the Donna Cleary murder investigation has been released without charge.

The 24-year-old was arrested in Dublin last Thursday on suspicion of possession of a firearm.

A file is being prepared for the DPP.

Donna Cleary, a 22-year-old mother of one, was shot at a house party in Adare Green in Coolock on 5 March 2006.

Five shots were fired in to the house after a group of men were refused entry to the party.

The main suspect for the murder, 22-year-old Dwayne Foster, later died in garda custody.
