Victim of Sligo truck crash is named

The 38-year-old man who died in an accident in Sligo on Wednesday has been named locally as James Feely from Tubbertelly, Tubbercurry, Co Sligo. 

Mr Feely is believed to have suffered a heart attack and lost control of the truck he was driving which hit a wall on Pearse Road. 

Mr Feely worked for Sligo County Council and colleagues there expressed shock and sadness at his tragic death. 

They described him as a popular and hard working man.

Mr Feely and his wife Lorraine have six children including two sets of twins.
