Iarnród Éireann has said that normal service will resume on the on the northern line commuter service and on the Dublin-Belfast service tomorrow morning.
However slight delays of around five minutes may result from a temporary 40kph speed restriction in the derailment area, where track has been replaced.
Repair work has been continuing throughout the weekend following the derailment of a freight train on Thursday night, south of Skerries at Hacketstown.
Delays were experienced by passengers using train services between Dublin and Belfast today.
The line between Dublin and Drogheda was closed today with bus transfers in operation.
