Man killed in Meath collision

A 63-year-old man died after he was struck by a truck in Co Meath this morning.

A 63-year-old man died after he was struck by a truck in Co Meath this morning.

The collision happened at Millbrook, Oldcastle, Co Meath at 7.30am.

It is not known if the man was cycling a bicycle found at the scene prior to the crash.

He was pronounced dead on arrival at Our Lady's Hospital, Navan.

Gardaí at Kells Garda Station have appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone who was in the area between 7am and 7.30am, to contact them on 046 9280820.
