A full visitor ban is in place at Wexford General Hospital due to a suspected outbreak of the vomiting bug.
A total of 21 patients at Wexford General Hospital are presently 'active' in terms of displaying symptoms consistent with the virus. There are a further 23 'contact' cases.
The ban will be in place over the coming days and only in very exceptional circumstances will visitors be permitted.
