Wexford General Hospital has announced a ban on visitors because of suspected outbreak in the community of the Noro Virus, commonly known as the vomiting bug.
The hospital said 13 patients and three members of staff are displaying symptoms of the virus.
The hospital hopes the ban will prevent further outbreaks of the virus being brought into the hospital by visitors.
