Cork death not treated as suspicious

Gardaí say they are not treating as suspicious, the death of a woman whose body was discovered at a flat in Cork city.

Gardaí say they are not treating the death of a woman whose body was discovered in a flat in Cork as suspicious.

The discovery was made on Gerald Griffin Street in Cork city this afternoon.

This follows the completion of a post mortem examination on the woman's body by Assistant State Pathologist Dr Margaret Bolster.

Gardaí say they are awaiting further tests to establish the cause of the woman's death.
