A man has been arrested after an arson attack on a house in south Belfast.
A family of four, including three young children, escaped injury in the blaze, which occurred at a house on Florenceville Drive, off the Ormeau Road.
The Fire and Rescue service said the family was lucky to be alive after the attack.
The fire was started early this morning after a front window was smashed and petrol was poured inside.
A woman and her three daughters were asleep in the house at the time, but managed to escape by climbing onto a flat roof at the rear of the house and jumping to safety.
