A 50-year-old man was killed in a road accident yesterday evening in Athenry, Co Galway.
He has been named as Czeslaw Krzak, of Slí An Chlairin in Athenry.
The accident, involving two cars and a pedestrian, happened shortly after 7.30pm on the Caheroyan Road outside the town.
