A 25-year-old man arrested in relation to yesterday morning's fatal stabbing in Limerick city has been released without charge.

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The incident took place at Lenihan Avenue in Prospect.

The man who died has been named as 45-year-old Stephen O'Grady of Lenihan Avenue.
