A baby is said to be fighting for his life following a road accident in Co Meath.
It happened at around 7pm at Moone Cross on the N2 between Ashbourne and Slane.
It is believed a car containing two adults and three children had pulled into the side of the road.
One adult and a child had got out of the car and were standing in off the road when another vehicle crashed into the rear of their car.
Several ambulances brought the injured to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
A baby who was in the car is described as being in a critical condition.
Two others are being treated for injuries which are not life-threatening.
