Four fishermen rescued off Howth

Four crew members from an Irish registered fishing boat have been rescued by the Howth RNLI lifeboat north of Dublin Bay.

Four crewmembers from an Irish registered fishing boat have been rescued by the Howth RNLI lifeboat north of Dublin Bay.

The four were taken from rocks at Balscadden near Howth at around 4am after their vessel, the Crystal Sea, sank.

None of the four were believed to have sustained serious injuries.

Howth Coastguard also assisted in the rescue operation.
