One man has been taken to hospital with facial injuries, following a disturbance in Athenry, Co Galway.
Gardaí were called to the scene shortly before 11pm last night.
About 40 to 50 members of the Travelling community became involved in a row in Keane's bar on the main street of the town, they had earlier attended a funeral in Tuam.
The argument spilled out onto the street, where gardaí were forced to call Galway and Oranmore stations for assistance.
The crowd dispersed after the injured man was taken to University College Hospital, Galway.
