The new €115m N2 Dublin/Derry bypass at Castleblayney has officially opened.

The new €115m N2 Dublin/Derry bypass at Castleblayney has officially opened.

The 16km stretch of road in Co Monaghan is expected to reduce travel time between Dublin and the border by around 40 minutes.

It will take traffic away from the town of Castleblayney, as well as from Annyalla and Clontibret villages.
