A man who appeared at a special sitting of Naas District Court last night, in connection with the seizure of firearms and cocaine has been remanded in custody to appear in court at a later date.
Two people were arrested after seven firearms and cocaine with an estimated value of €100,000 were seized during a garda operation in Co Kildare on Friday.
Gardaí also discovered a quantity of ammunition, drugs paraphernalia, mace, and balaclavas.
A woman who was detained as part of the investigation has been released without charge.
