As oil prices surge, hydrogen and electricity are becoming viable alternatives to petrol.

The vehicles are available in Ireland and tax breaks are expected in next month's budget on environmentally-friendly cars.

In London, there are huge financial incentives to driving green - including no congestion charge and free charges for fully electric cars.

As part of this week's RTÉ News special series On The Move: The Future of Transport, Business Correspondent David Murphy reports from London where a little car is making a lot of noise.
