One of the three men arrested in relation to yesterday's drug seizure and firearms find has been charged.

The 28-year-old will appear at Dublin District Court in the morning.

The other two men remain in custody in Pearse Street Garda Station.

A fourth man was released without charge last night.

Gardaí believe they uncovered a cocaine factory and disrupted the supply operation of a criminal gang following a series of raids in south and west Dublin on Friday night.

An estimated €500,000 worth of cocaine was discovered following the search of a warehouse in Walkinstown.

Vacuuming machines, pressing equipment, firearms, ammunition and large sums of cash were also recovered.

A house in Clondalkin was also searched, and three men were arrested and taken to Pearse Street Garda station.

More drugs and cash were found during a search of another house in Tallaght.

A man in his 30s arrested there was released last night, and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
