An RTÉ Radio drama picked up the award for best radio drama at the Prix Europa awards in Berlin last night.
The award went to 'Mayday' which was written and directed by Veronica Coburn.
It was produced by Kevin Reynolds with sound by Richard McCullough.
The Prix Europa was founded by the European Cultural Foundation and the Council of Europe in 1987.
The competition's main aim is to promote the trademark of 'Made in Europe'.
