A 30-year-old man has been charged at a special sitting of Longford District Court this evening in connection with a drugs find in Co Offaly.
Cocaine with an estimated street value of €80,000 was discovered during a planned search of a house in Edenderry at 7.30pm yesterday evening.
Tony Byrne of 81 The Sycamores in Edenderry, was charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
He was granted bail and is due to appear at Tullamore District Court next Wednesday.
