A 29-year-old woman has been arrested following the seizure of cocaine at Dublin Airport.

The woman had swallowed 79 pellets, containing an estimated €70,000 worth of of the drug.

She had arrived on a flight from Amsterdam when officers became suspicious.

After questioning was handed over to the Garda Drug Squad in Santry. The woman is due to appear in court later today.

Drugs to a value of €5.1m have been seized by Customs Officers at Dublin Airport to-date in 2007.
