Two people who had been reported missing on Carrantuohill in the McGillycuddy Reeks have been found safe and well by members of the Kerry Mountain Rescue Team.
A search operation was mounted after the two, an 82-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy, failed to return after setting off early yesterday morning to climb Carrantuohill in Co Kerry.
They were located at around 12.45am this morning.
A spokesman for the Kerry Mountain Rescue Team said weather conditions during the search were good.
