The Grand Orange Lodge has condemned an attack on a convoy of buses in Armagh as they were bringing Orangemen back from a Twelfth of July march at Loughgall.

The Orangemen and band members said missiles were thrown at the vehicles as they travelled on Friary Road.

It is understood the route was different from that recommended by police.

A local Sinn Féin councillor said the attacks were wrong and the PSNI is investigating.
