Church threatens Sony over PS3 game

The Church of England is threatening legal action against Sony after it used a cathedral as the backdrop to a violent computer game.

The PlayStation3 game, Resistance: Fall of Man, is set inside Manchester Cathedral and has sold more than 1m copies.

Church officials have described Sony's use of the building as sick and sacrilegious.

They say Sony did not ask for permission, and they want the game to be removed from shop shelves.
