An Bord Pleanála is to hold an oral hearing into objections after Indaver Ireland were granted revised planning permission for a proposed incinerator near Duleek in Co Meath.
Having cleared all the legal obstacles to an incinerator burning 150,000 tonnes of waste per year, Indaver Ireland applied for planning permission to increase it to 200,000.
That was nearly a year ago and in August Meath County Council granted the company planning permission.
An Bord Pleanála has received five appeals to that decision. They will hold oral hearings into those appeals before deciding whether to approve the increase or not.
The hearings will start on Tuesday, 6 March at 10am at the Boyne Valley Hotel in Drogheda.
They are scheduled to last for four days.
